I worked for BIG Lottery’s £59.8 million Local Food programme from 2008 until 2012. I helped design and develop the function of a group of advisers who were taken on is a freelance capacity to support organisations applying to us. Our consultants helped groups with their funding applications and then the running of their resultant projects.
I managed over 50 freelance consultants, monitoring their performance to ensure that organisations received a quality service and that the projects they developed were robust and high impact.
Online resources were developed and maintained by myself and my team to provide information and networking opportunities for our consultants, applicants and funded organisations.
I also designed and delivered capacity building training events, nationwide.
I am incredibly proud to have been part of this exciting programme.
